Got me going crazy

Please note that this is ALL fiction!In no way would this ever happen because one i've never met the Jonas Brothers an two Nick is probably oppisite of his character.Btw Nick's character does change .This story is also a little mature so please keep that in mind.Thank you.Enjoy!

Chapter 1 ;It's a call you'll never get

"Hello?"I said."Hello! this is you wake up call!"."Huh,Demi?"."Yeseree!"."Oh my gosh can you get more annoying?"."Um no i really don't think its possible".I woke up put my clothes on and hurried out the door.I finnally caught up to Demi.Demi and I have been best friends since preschool and thats only because no one else would share their animal crakers with her, boy was I a dummie!She could just go on and on about stupid things but hey she was really my only friend.I saw Miley pass by and she kicked mud on my shoes.Miley and I were eachothers best friends in 4th grade but then we found out that my dad was cheating on my mom with her mom and well the rest is history.But thankfully My dad and her mom never made it.Ugh just imagine us being sisters,Ugh.And now we are eachother enemys."Ugh!Skank!"I said."Slut!"She said back.I walked away.

Me and Demi got inside and went to class.Our teacher Ms.Cyrus was the most nicest person in the world but since that was miley's mom and my dad's ex mistress I was forced to hate her."Good morning!"She said."Well today we have a new student".I was in my seat texting Demi."His name is nick jonas,Nick you can sit by Gabby, raise your hand gabby"I raised my hand without taking my eyes of my phone."Hey"He said."I know who you are,My uncle was one of your teachers at your other school,Your the popular kid who got the nickname 'castle boy',You know you would take a girl up to your 'castle' and 'battle' them "."Oh yeah"."Yeah well your not battling me buddy"."Aww shucks"He said snapping his fingers.

The bell rang and I stood up Nick followed me.I turned around."Look I Don't wanna know you in anyway shape or form so back off!"."Hey don't get your hopes up. I just wanted to ask you if you know that Miley girl"."Yeah why---Oh yeah thats right you wanna 'battle' her"."Nah I just wanna get to know her"."Yeah and her vajayjay"I whispered."Huh?"."Nothing,why don't you just ask her your self?"."Ok thanks"He kissed me on the cheek."Whoa what was that for?!"."That was my thank you,I was being polite"."Ugh whatever".I walked away.

Chapter 2;Inseperable

As me and Demi walked home I got the feeling I was being followed so I turned around."Are you ok?"Demi asked."Yeah" I said.The feeling was still there so I turned around,again,then out of nowhere Nick had came out behind a bush."Ahhh!"I screamed."Oh my gosh were you trying to kill me?"."Sorry"He said."What do you want?"I said."Well you seemed kinda angry back there so I wanted to say sorry"."Oh.Ok.So thats it?"."Well...."."Ha! I knew it was to good to be true your just sucking up to me just to get me in bed!"."Why does everyone insist thats all I'm good for?!"."Uh maybe cause you act like it"."Look I've never even slept with anyone"."Then why do you say that to everyone else?"."Cause thats who i'm labeled to be"."You know you can alway go against the labeling, I mean hey me a Demi did and look how good we turned out--well that was a bad example".He laughed."You know your pretty funny and I think you turned out just fine"."Thanks"I said."Ok so what was the real reason you came to talk to me?"."Well I was wondering if you wanna go to the beach?"."why would you take me?"."Well i felt sorry for wha happend and wanted to make it up to you"."Oh so like a pity date?"."No like a regular date"."Ok then sure".

I went in side to change and got my swimsuit."Ok Mom i'm going with a friend to the beach i'll be back around ten"I yelled as I walked out the door."Ok have fun love you"."Love you too mom".

I got in to Nicks car.It smelled really bad but of course I wasn't gonna say that to him."Did you bring your swimsuit?"He asked."Yeah its under my clothes"I said.When we finally got there it was probably the most beautiful thing i've ever seen in my life.Very romantic.And I couldn't take my eyes off of Nick.His eyes were breathtaking,his hair was to die for and the way he talked would make any girl swoon.Unfortunetly,the beach brought back so many memories.I started to cry and waked away.Nick went after me."Hey are you ok?"He asked."You know every summer my family would go to the beach but all that has changed since the divorce".'I'm so sorry what happend?"."Well my dad was caught cheating on my mom with mileys mom""."oh so thats why you hate Miley?".I nodded.He gave be a big hug and then kissed me but I didn't get angry this time I let it happen.We spent the rest of the night looking at the stars on the sand.

Chapter 3 ;only the beggining

When we got in the car I fell right to sleep."hey Gabby we're at your house"Nick said."Ok see you later"I said getting out of the car."Goodnight Gabby"He said."Goodnight"I said smiling.I got inside my house and noticed my mom asleep on the couch with tv on.I just let her sleep.I went up to my room and went right to bed.

The Next day came and went through the usual procedures,Demi's wake up call,Breakfast,school.I couldn't wait to see Nick.Demi and I walked to school and once again Miley made some stupid comment and and we threw trash talk at eachother,again.We went inside and sat in our classroom nick came in and flashed a smile at me.i did the same back.he sat down at tapped my shoulder."Hey"I said."Hey.I was wondering if you wanna meet me at my house,I want you to meet my family,My mom says she wants to meet my girlfriend"."Girlfriend?"I asked."Yeah why?"."Well you could have told me"."well we kissed didn't we?"."True,anyways what time?"."Umm about 6"."Ok i'll be there".

Chapter 4;Meet the family

I rang the doorbell at Nick's house he answered the door with a suprised look on his face."What am I overdressed?"I said."No you could have came underdressed"."Ugh idiot"I said punching him in the stomach."Well Gabby this is my mom,Dad,and my brothers Kevin,Joe,and Frankie"."Nice to meet you" I said.We all walked into the kitchen."Oh it smells amazing"."Thank you I made chicken penne"His mom said.

We sat down and started eating."This is so good Mrs.Jonas"I said."Thank you and call me Denise"."Is it ok if I take Gabby and give her a tour of the house?"Said Nick."Sure"Said His dad.

As we walked down the hallway I noticed pictures of him and his family."Haha is that you?"I asked pointing to the one where he was butt naked in the bathtub."Uh yeah"."You were a cute kid"."Thanks".He took me into his room and showed me around.I noticed pictures of him in almost every sport.There were hundreds of trophys on shelfs.He sat down on his bed."what was this for?"I said pointing to a trophy."1st place soccer"."So your obviously athletic"."I guess you could say that"He said laughing.I sat down next to him.

"So what do you want to know about me"I asked.'Hmm well when did your parents split up?"."When I was 10"."So how did you find out he was cheating?"."Lets just say I caught them in the act"."Oh ouch"."Yeah it kind of scared me for life".We both laughed.

"You know your the first one who I told about my hidden identidy."."Let me guess the first on to bring home too?"."Actually I've never really had a girlfriend,I mean I went on dates"."Oh so I guess i'm pretty special"."Or just pretty"he said.I laughed."No i'm serious your the most beautiful person I met".

"Gabby your mom is here"His mom called."Ok!"."see you tommorw?"Nick said."Yeah".I said and kissed him on the cheek.

Chpater 5;The Nightmare

I heard my ringtone go off it was shake it by metrostation."Hello"I said."Gabby"."Huh?Miley is that you?"."Yeah."."What do you want?"."Its my mom!Somethings wrong but I don't know what"."Ok i'll be right there".

I walked to mileys house and no one was there so I walked to kitchen to find Nick on the floor un-concious."Oh my gosh Nick!".And right after that miley came from nowhere with a knife."Miley...Now just put the knife down and tell me what happend to nick."."How could you"."What are you talking about?"."How could you date nick."."What!So your telling me I can't date anyone you happen to like?!".Just then she threw the knife.

"Someone get her to a hospital!"."Huh?Mom?Where am I?"."Just lie here ok try not to move your arm.".I looked down to see I had a huge cut on my arm.I saw nick go into the passenger seat of my car.Still unconcious.I gave him a kiss.Hey if it brought sleeping beauty back to life I might as well give it a try.My mom drove us to a hostpital.

Nick was rolled in on a strecher and I walked along side him.I held his hand."Mom?"."Yeah?"."Is Nick gonna be ok?"."Um I don't know".I started to cry."You really liked this boy didn't you?"."No mom I loved him".

 Chapter 6 ;The dream

I woke up and went downstairs to watch cartoons to get my mind off of things,it didn't work.I smelled bacon and that led me to the kitchen.I saw my mom cooking which was unusual for her.She never cooked she was that type of mom that never actually baked a cake for your birthday she just instead bought one, so I knew something was up."Hey mom"I said trying not to run into anything because of my arm."Oh hey sweetie.Are you feeling better?"She said."Yeah"I lied."I'm fine".

I went upstairs to call Demi it seemed odd that she didn't call me.I dialed her number.No answer.Her answering machine came on."Uh hey Demi,I got kinda worried cause you didn't call me so when you get a chance call me back.Bye."I lay down on my bed thinking.A million thoghts were infused in my head.The main one was Nick.Was he okay?Is he still unconcious?Tons of questions but not very many answers.

"Hey mom?"I yelled,straining my voice."Yeah?"She anwered."can you drive me to the hospital?"."Sure".

I changed into my clothes and not even bothering to fix my uncontrolable mess that was my hair,so I pulled it back into a pony-tail.It was actually quite difficult being as though I had one arm.So I asked my mom for help."He'll be fine"My mom muttered"Who?Oh yeah"I said trying to hold back my tears.But the came freely out of my eyes."You just have to think positive"She said wiping my tears from my face.

I got into the car and closed my eyes.I began dreaming.I could see someone walking on the beach but I couldn't make out who it was.Whoever that person was he or she sat down on the sand and looked at me and waved.I didn't wave back.a tide came and took him or her off out into the ocean an suddenly the person wasn't there anymore.But the voice was and this time I knew who it was it was Nick's.I could barely hear what he was saying but all I could hear was this,I'll always love you, no matter what happens there will always be love,remember that.There are no ends only begginings.I love you.

Chapter 7;Firsts

I woke up terrified not knowing where I was.I looked out the window watching the buildings go by.I tried figuring out my dream but it was just way too odd.I mean,Ocean,sand,and that weird saying?what could that mean?I replayed the saying over and over in my head,I forced my self to stop but I guess my thoughts had a mind of its own.

We drove into the hospital garage and looked everywhere for a parking space.We finally found one on the fourth floor.My mom helped me with un-buckling my seatbelt and getting me out of the car.We walked down to the lobby of the hostpital.

When we got to the front desk there was a man with a tuppe and a weird mustouche.That guy must be going through a mid-life crisis."How may I help you?"The man said".Yes we need the room number for Nicholas Jonas".My mom said trying not to laugh at the guys hair that was blowing off."Ok".He looked in his computer and searched for his name.I waited."Ah yes"The man said."Nicholas Jonas room 301,2nd floor"."Thanks".My mom said.We got an elevator.

As we passed by the rooms I wondered if he was ok.It was all a blur to me as to what happen that day.Add I was thankfull that I had forgotten.

"Alright, this is room 301".My mom said."Are you sure you want to do this?".I paused and then answered."Positive". 

Chapter 8;Angel

I took a deep breath and walked in.I noticed Nick's eyes were closed and so I walked over to him.There were tubes,beeping machinery and God knows what else.He had a few bruises and his leg had a huge scar from where Miley had stabbed him.I cringed just looking at it.I leaned over to kiss his forehead and I could feel his breath hit against my chin.He woke up and looked around until he saw me and then his eyes widend."I never expected to see you here"He whispered."I would do anything for you"I said back.He touched the sling for my arm and chuckled."What?"I said confused."Yeah you'd do anything alright".He said still smiling.Normally I would get angry but it was nice to see him smile."Promise this won't happen again"He said."What won't happen?"."All this".He said pointing to his body."Oh then I promise"I answered."I love you"."I know"He said with a crooked smile.Just then the nurse came in to give Nick his pain medicine.She put it in one of the tubes and it must have worked right a way because I noticed Nick's eyes drooping. When the nurse left I went back besides nick."I'll be back tommorrw to pick you up"I promised."Ok".He said."I love you"."I love you too"I said back.

When I got back home it was about six o' clock.I had dinner,watched T.V. and went to bed.Again,I began dreaming.It was me and I was alone in a forest.Giant trees surrounding me and no way to get out or call for help.So I ran.I ran as fast as I could.I was getting nowhere.So I stopped.I layed down on the grass and looked at the cloudy sky.I could hear the thunder.The wind was probably going fifty miles an hour.Then I heard that same saying with the same voice.The wind picked up speed and the voice got louder.It began to rain.The rain hit hard on my stomach.It hit my broken arm and it burned.My eyes were wide.The more the volume of the voice got higher the more the wind picked up speed.I sat up and saw an angel like figure.I noticed it was Nick.He reached out his hand and I tried to grab it but just then the wind blew the angelic-looking person away into the stromy clouds.I layed back down and prayed for this dream to be over.

Chapter 9;home safe

It was over.Thank God!I looked at my clock,four A.M..I didn't know what to do,I was too afraid to go back to sleep,what if the dream came back again.I sat up and turned on the t.v.There was nothing on.It was just the same;War,criminals,gas prices,and the stock market.I watched it thinking that it would distract me from my thoughts,but,it looked like my thoughts won.As the time went by all I could think about was my dream.And Nick.But,then again when didn't I think about Nick.It was kind of hard not to.I looked at my clock again and noticed that it was already 6:37.Time just passed by so quickly.I went downstairs to get my breakfast.I hit my other arm on the banister,i'm the only one I know who can do that.But my mom was already awake pouring milk into my cereal (Cinnimon Toast Crunch!Yum!)

"Hey mom"I said still half asleep."Oh,good morning!"She looked startled."I made you some cereal"."Thanks mom".I began to eat."Hey mom?"."Yea?"She said."When are we going to pick up Nick?"I asked."Probably after you get dressed".I chowed down on my cereal and went right up stairs.I did as much as I could with getting dressed with one arm.I suceeded!My mom brushed out my hair and we went into the car.This time I made sure I didn't fall asleep.

We pulled up into the circle-drive of the hospital and I waited in the car while my mom got Nick.He came in a wheelchair and the nurse was following closely behind with two crutches.I got out of the car to try to help (emphusis on the try).He looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back.I helped get him into the car.he sat right next to me in the car.When he got in he chuckled."What".I said confused."I can't leave you alone at all can I ?"He said looking at my bruise where I bumped my good arm on the banister.I rolled my eyes and grew angry.I turned and looked out the window.I fell asleep.Again,I began deaming.You know this is getting a little annoying.

Chapter 10;Death trap

In my dream I was in a small dark room.That right there scared me (I was claustrophobic).It was cold and for some odd reason my arm that was broken,wasn't broken anymore.Matter-of-fact, there was no scar where the knife was.I heard a voice but it wasn't the one I kept hearing, it was a different one.It was a girl.You have what I want.And I will get what you have,Trust me.And when I get what I want ....I will hunt you down.I've been watching you and theres no where and no one you can run to. Once I find you I will take you down.

I was still in my dream or nightmare,I should say.My knees were trembling,my stomach felt as if I wasn't born with one and my heart was racing.I was breathing heavy and my mind was in a million places at once.The voice was getting louder.I tried to scream but I couldn't.Kind of like Ursula taking away Ariel's voice in The Little Memaid,only I didn't know who my Ursula was.I cried, that was the only thing I could do.There was no way out of the dark room.I wanted to find the person who was saying these things but I couldn't.I got down on my knees and begged for this to be over.

Chapter 11;Unsolved Mysteries

I woke up still in the car,my hair drenched with sweat and my heart racing.I turned to look at Nick and he was sleeping.I smiled knowing that everything was going to be okay.Hanson was playing in the car and after about 30 MMMbop's from my mom I thought I was going to kill myself.We were finnally at home and I woke Nick up."Nick"I whispered."We're home,c'mon".He slowly opened his eyes."Hi"He said."Hi"I said back with a smile."I'll open the door for you".He nodded.I went around the car and opened the door with my good arm.I helped Nick get out and then opened the trunk to get his cruches.He leaned against the car very casually as if he wasn't injured.He had a crooked smile.That meant he was up to something."What"I said laughing."Nothing"He said,also laughing."No seriously,what?"I begged."You like me don't you?"He said still with that crooked smile,that made me weak in the knees."Hmm...well....I basically put my life in danger for you and then picked you up at the hospital....I think its a dead give away".He was still smiling."Ok".He said."Ok what?"I asked confused."No, thats really all I wanted to know."He said."Oh.Ok"I said still confused.

I helped Nick get in the house and to the couch.He sat down with a deep breath.My mom turned on the T.V. ,it was still on the cartoon channel."Oh."I said embarassed"Sorry i'll change it"."No!"He said."I love Tom and Jerry!".I was in shock a little.Not only did he yell,but,he loved Tom and Jerry."Oh,ok.Then leave it here then"I walked into the kitchen still in amazement."Mom,you will never believe this!Nick loves Tom and Jerry."She laughed spitting all the orange juice on the floor."No way."She said shocked,just as much as I was,maybe even more."Yes!"I said."Can you believe it?".Then the phone rang.

Chapter 12;Voice

I answered it.You have what I want.And I will get what you have,Trust me.And when I get what I want ....I will hunt you down.I've been watching you and theres no where and no one you can run to. Once I find you I will take you down.It was that voice again.My knees could no longer take the pain.I sat down on a chair.I was so scared I couldn't even hang up.I could feel my my heart racing and my palms were sticky."Gabby?"My mom called."Are you okay?You look like you've just see a ghost"I immedietly put the phone back on the reciever."Oh,nothing.I was just a prank caller."I lied.This seriously creeped me out.It was the same exact voice from the dream.Millions of thoughts were racing in my mind.I went into the living room where Nick was laughing histerical at the cartoons.It immedietly brought my attention away from the phone call."So who was that?"Ugh.Nevermind then,I guess."I don't know"I said nervously."Didn't you answer it?"He said finnaly taking his eyes off the television screen."Yeah"I said."Well then....didn't you ask who it was?"He said getting annoyed."It was a prank caller"I said without any thought."Um....ok"He said,knowing I was lying.He didn't stop me from lying because he knew something was up and I didn't want to talk about it.I was very thankful,because I didn't want to talk about.

After countless hours of cartoons and Nick and I laughing at every one of them,we finnaly fell asleep.But all of a sudden the doorbell rang.It was eleven at night,who could possibly be want our attention this late?I opened the door and.........It was some little girl who wanted us to buy cookies.Now who would buy cookies this late?I mean c'mon,seriously?But I decided some anyway.And I was hungry,so,what the heck?

Chapter 13; Knock-out

I went outside to give the girl her money and just then a guy in dark clothing and a mask came and put his hand on my mouth.He punched me which left me un-concious and threw me in the backseat of his car.When I woke up I found my self in a dark room,just like the dream.But instead of being alone,the guy in the mask was with me.He saw that I was awake and looked down at me.I tried to get up but he knocked me down.He,then,took off his mask.Then I realized it was Cody,Miley's boyfriend."Why are you doing this?"I asked."Don't ask questions!"He yelled."Are you dating Nick?"He asked"That's none of your business"I argued.He slaped me."Liar....tell me the truth"He said,with a voice that sent chills down my spine."Yes....yes..ok"I gave up."That's more like it."He kicked me,then hit my broken arm.I couldn't help but scream.He slapped me again."Shut up"He said.He drove me to the corner of my street and amde me walk to my house.

"Shes back!"Someone yelled.It was nick.He hobbled to me and threw his arms around me.He noticed the cuts and brusies all over my body."Who did this to you?"He said angerly."It was Cody."I said straining my voice."I'll kill him!"Nick yelled."No.Remember,you're already injured."I said."Fine".He said with a sigh."Let's go home".

One month passed by and Nick was all better.He just had some cuts left but besides that,he was doing well."I'm gonna go to Cody's"Nick said."Ok----"I stopped in mid-sentence."Whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa wait!I don't think so.You just got your bandages off,do you want them back on?"I said with an angry tone."Ugh.Fine.But I do need to get some milk from the store."He compromised."Fine".I said.I kissed his cheek."Be careful"I whispered knowing he wasn't going to the store."I will"He whispered back.

He drove off.He pulled up to Cody's and waited for him to come home.He had football practice.He got home and saw Nick standing near his convertible.He got out of the car and looked confused."What the hell are you doing here?"He said."Nothing".Nick said with a crooked smile."I just saw this beautiful acr and wanted to touch it"he slid his finger down the hood of the car."Get away from my car"Cody said."I have a question".Nick said,still smiling"How much do you love this car?"He asked."Alot"Cody said,nervously,as if he didn't see what was coming."Hmm..."Nick said.He pulled out a hammer and broke the windshield."What the?!Are you crazy!".Cody was gonna punch Nick put before he could,Nick already had a grip on his fist.Nick twisted his arm and threw him to the ground."So...You like beating women?!"Nick said.Before Cody could get up,Nick kicked him right where it hurts.Cody tried crawling away."Hey where ya going?"Nick said with sarcasm.But immedietly it turned stern."I was just havin' fun".He then kicked his rear.Cody fell to the ground.Nick walked to his car and pulled out his key and scratched the side of Cody's car.Nick laughed while he drove off and burned rubber.

 Chapter 14;Unwanted Visitors

I saw Nick walk in and asked him what happened."So....."I said."So.....what?"He said."So....did you kick his ass?"I blurted."Oh yeah"He smirked.I gave him a big hug and kissed his cheek."Thank you" I whispered."No problem"He whispered back.

That night we both fell asleep on the couch watching scary movies.I always hated scary movies ,but, to tell you the truth,I really wasn't paying attention to the movie.I fell asleep on Nick's chest.He smelt of colongne and cheetos.His shirt was soft,just like his hair.He had the most perfect curls i'd ever seen,I actually was jealous.All my hair would do if it was curly,would just frizz up.But it wasn't all just about looks to me,he was sweet,loving,caring and actually understood me and my crazy life.That's all I could ever ask for in a guy.

The next morning came and my mom wnt to work and Nick stayed with me.Ever since I was beat up by Cody,Nick never left my side.So when my mom went to work Nick basically babysat me."I have to go to the store"Nick said.His eye grew with compassion."Do you want to come?"He asked."No.I'll be fine"I lied.I was a nervous wreck without him,but I felt I was being to clingy so I let him have this one."Ok.But call me if your in trouble"He said with concerning eyes."Ok"I said.He left.I watched his car pull out of the driveway and took a deep breath.I sat back on the couch.

The doorbell rang.My heart began beating really fast.Ever since all that other stuff happend,i've always been afraid of doorbells.I hesitated to answer it so I asked who it was."It's your father".My heart skipped a beat.I hadn't seen my dad in over four years.I opend the door and saw that warm smile of his.I wrapped my arms around him."I love you"he said."I love you too"I said back."Come sit down".We sat and talked for what seemed like forever but was really only a few minutes."So.....anybody special in your life?"My dad hinted.He and I always used to talk about those things.I nodded."So who is he?"He asked with a smile."His name is Nick".His smile turned to a frown."Oh yeah,the Jonas kid,I heard about him".He said."I never really could see you with a guy like that"He said."What do mean?"I asked."Well he doesn't seem like your type".He said."Oh.ok."I said disapointed."You know it's none of my business"He started."But I really don't think he's the guy for you,I kind of wish you wern't seeing him"He said in his dad voice.I hated that voice.He rarely used,well,with me anyways."Your right dad,"I began.His smile re-appeard."It isn't any of your business".His smile faded,he sighed."Well,I better get going".I smiled."Ok thanks for stopping by,dad".I said."It was my pleasure......and Gabby?"He asked."What?"I said."Make good choices"He said."I will,dad,I love you"I said."Alright,well,say hi to your mom for me".He said,disapointed."Ok,bye dad"I said."Bye,I love you too".He added.

Chapter 15;Heartbreaks

I rolled my eyes as soon as he got out the door.I mean,he's never been that father figure to me and now that I see him he expects to run my life?I don't think so.Nick hadn't been gone very long but still I was a wreck.I couldn't go any longer without seeing him.It's funny how the guy I thought would be a real jerk somehow ended being one of my best friends and my protector.I really didn't think of him as a boyfriend,because boyfriends don't stay that long.But I did love him.Just then he walked through the door.Very angelic looking,I was breathing deep breaths now."You ok?"He asked."Huh?"I dropped out of my daze."Uh yeah,i'm fine".He had a weird look on his face.

"Were you ok here?"He asked."Yeah"I lied."Ok"He said.He pulled out some Fruit Loops and the milk then went to the cupboard for a bowl.I watched him walk gracefully to get everything."What?"He asked confused at my expression."Nothing"I said,once again being pulled out of my daze.Dang it.

He sat on the couch and turned the t.v. on.I loved watcheing him.It was kind of like those wilderdess shows where they show you what each animal is doing.He was a Lion,protective,graceful,sneaky,and always on the look out.I was a Gazelle,never on the lookout and basically waiting for the predetors to catch you.Everyone was my predetor,I was their prey.

I sat down next to him, when the doorbell rang.I automatically jumped up and my side twitched."Calm down"Nick warned.I took a deep breath.He opened the door.it was only my mom.I let out a deep sigh of relief."Hey mom"I said."Hey"She said.She sounded tired.'So what did you guys do?"She asked."Nothing"Nick said"Just sat here".My mom went upstairs,and Nick went to the kitchen,I followed.But,clumsy me,I slipped.And fell.(That's a given)

"Oh God!"Nick said annoyed."Will you ever learn?"He came over to me."well,we're gonna have to go to the hospital"He said rolloing his eyes."I'm sorry"I said,feeling guilty."No.it's not you fault".He said realizing he hurt my feelings."you're just clumsy".He gave a crooked smile.Great.Now I not only have to go to the hospital for head injury but heart attack too?

We drove to the hospital.My my drove us and Nick was in the back with me,holding onto my hand.It was warm and soft.I never let go.But I noticed something in Nick's eyes that never was there before.I saw dissapointment in his eyes.Was it me?I tried thinking back.Nope.Nothing.Or maybe it wasn't me.But what or who was it?He let go of my hand.That was something he never did.I began to worry.

We got out of the car and went to the front desk.The same middle aged man was there from before.He stuck out his hand."I already got you on the list"From my periphfial vision I could see Nick chuckle.When they called my name they took me to a room to get stiches.Nick didn't go with me.My mom did.Not that I don't love my mom,it's just that Nick not going with me was strange.Something was wrong.

I came out-seven stiches in my head-and turned to look at Nick.He never looked up from his magizene.We walked out to the car and Nick still sat next to me but never bothered to look at me.I wondered all the things I could've possibly done but in mid-thought,we were home.

"I need to talk to you".Nick said,his voice very calm.He grabbed my hand and we walked to the park.He let out a deep sigh."I don't know if I can through with this anymore".I knew where this was going.I could feel the tears well up in my eyes.I didn't speak."I don't know how to say this this"He looked at me with eyes that could break my heart.Too late."Then don't"I said giving up the silent treatment I had planned."look Gabby-"I cut him off."Don't you care about me?"I asked giving up everything.

Chapter 16;The beggining?

"Of course I do that's not the problem"I couldn't believe what he was saying."Then what is the problem?"He sighed."I love you.I always will."He said very calmly."But I don't know if i'm good enough for you"I stared at him with widend eyes."What are you talking about?"He stared at me also."I got you in this mess and the last thing I want to do is have you get hurt".I was angry now."What,you mean the Cody thing?"I started,"That happend three months ago!And besides if you left me,I would get hurt because you're not protecting me".I let out a deep breath."Yes but what they want is me.Think of it as a sacrifice,i'm only doing this for you".My tears were oozing out the corners of my eyes."So you'll risk me moping around all the time instead of me getting hurt ?".He was angry too now."You're making this difficult"His eyes were blazing."You started this"He grabbed my face with his hands."Trust me this hurts me more than this hurts you,i'm only doing this because I love you,you have to know that".He leaned down so his lips could meet mine.He pulled away and hugged me tightly."I'll always love you, no matter what happens there will always be love,remember that.There are no ends only begginings.I love you."The tears were now flowing freely from my eyes."Goodbye Gabby,and please try to stay out of trouble.....for me".And before I could say my final goodbye,he was off.

I sat there wondering what just happend.I pinched myself thinking I was dreaming,but I wasn't.I didn't understand.I lay down on the cold wet grass and hoped that this was all some terrible nightmare.But I knew the worst wasn't over yet,I still had school,and I had to face Miley.What kind of danger was he protecting me from?He shoud've known that I was going to get hurt anyways,I mean what part of clutz doesn't he understand?Heck,I could do more damage to myself than what Cody could do to me.

I got up.As I walked home I wondered what my life would be like without Nick.Hell.Absolute hell.I have a long life ahead of me.Just how am I supposed to live it if someone walked away with my heart?
